A simple jerkin made of a plush chenille, inspired by the practical and elegant styles of a kingdom of horse lords. Hand carved walnut toggles are secured with decorative leather knotwork hold the piece closed, and all raw edges are tucked under cotton ribbons for a clean finish.
 Jerkins of this style are a blend of the shorter and more structured renaissance garments and earlier gambesons and surcoats. They are a staple in fantasy garb for their clean lines and freedom of movement. Although the pattern is certainly reminiscent of medieval and renaissance motifs, neither the material nor cut are suitable for reenactment. It would be a lovely addition to any historically inspired or fantasy wardrobe, though.

Comfortably fits 42" chest. Suitable size for most men.
