Lucy Locket lost her pocket- and it seems we have found it.

For much of the 18th century, it was usual for women to wear tie-on pockets of this style under their skirts, although some were worn on display. They were often very personal- embroidered or quilted lavishly. Although modern clothes don't have the necessary side slits to make these accessible, they still make bright belt pouches and handy carry-alls for daily work. They will contain as much as a handbag in a pinch. They are a fantastic use of our excess material and a great detail to complete a historical or fantasy costume.

Will fit on 1" belt (see few exceptions below).

100% Cotton Muslin backing and lining. 

Approx. 14.5" long, 9" at widest point.  Hand opening 6.5" long

The following pockets will not fit on 1" belt:  Blue Floral w/Blue, Sea Foam, Yellow w/Blue, Olive Velvet & Olive Check
