Brown Ranger Cloak

Simple and sturdy, this cloak is a practical, frill-free piece. It is made of densely woven linen in a cool brown that blends in nicely with tree bark. The hood is spacious, but not extravagant- just large enough to hide your face in a dimly lit tavern. 

The body is a full 3/4 circle, so it will lay closed easily on most anyone, as 1/2 circle cloaks often struggle to do. The eyelets have been re-enforced with leather, and hand stitched for durability. Linen is an oft overlooked material, but it dries quickly and is extremely efficient at keeping you cool in hot weather; many reenactors who wear 4-5 layers of it in sweltering heat it will be eager to tell you this. Although this is not an insulated garment, the cooling ability does not sacrifice any of the warmth you might expect from a good, dense, layer of material.
