Many centuries ago, a young man fell from his horse in an ancient forest. There, he was trapped by the queen of the fair folk and kept to sacrifice in a ritual that only came about once every seven years. Despite his servitude to the magical beings, he eventually developed an attachment to a woman, Margaret, who would go walking in the woods, unafraid of the fairies within. When his turn at the altar came near, he told her of his fate, but she refused to accept it. The night he was to die, she snuck to the place the fair folk planned to take him, and waited out of sight. When he was brought forth, she ran to him, pulled him from his horse as the fairies once did, and kept a tight hold on him while the fairies turned him into horrible creatures to escape her. When their efforts were exhausted, she drew her cloak around him, claiming him back, and brought him home.

This relaxed cloak is inspired by illustrations from the 1500s, like some of our earliest writings of Tam Lin. It is worn, but not tattered, and holds the elegant drape of a garment infused with fairy magic. It should fit most people with ease, and fastened with several buttons at the shoulder. Made from 100% linen, it ought to protect you from the sun, keep you cooler than cotton in the heat, and provide light coverage in the cold. For those seeking a subtle touch of romance and fairy tale whimsy to their wardrobe, this waist length cloak will not dissapoint.
