Black Currant Capelet

Full of movement and rich colors, this cloak is inspired by the elaborate mantles of the Victorian period. It is a single layer of soft wool, just enough to keep the chill out on a crisp autumn day. It is quite warm for its light weight. Every raw edge is finished by hand, and hand done embroidery accents the tassels and beading, carefully secured for a long life. It is 3/4 of a circle, which drapes more comfortably over the shoulders than semicircle cloaks. For a night out at the theater, a walk through a misty prairie, or a vampiric ball, this expressive and unobtrusive cloak may be a welcome companion.
